With a background in strategic analytics and data science, Vijay has more recently applied and adapted techniques from machine learning and artificial intelligence to finance, focusing on driving efficiency in financial forecasting and optimizing finance operations, with the aim of enabling stakeholders to realize value through digital transformation.
He has worked for several years in enabling data-driven decision making on enterprise initiatives for telecommunications providers. Within this domain, he has focused on developing time series applications, conducting test and learn experiments and applying machine learning for network transformation, customer operations and digital marketing use cases. He has also uncovered many opportunities to apply advanced analytics and AI to deliver business value.
Vijay holds a MSE in computer engineering and an MA in business administration and currently works as a senior manager of data science at Bell, which is Canada's largest communications company that is leading the way in broadband and media innovation.
